1. Your barcode data
Generation and scanning run in your browser. The barcode tools do not send the text you encode, images you select, or camera frames to our server for processing. Downloaded files are saved through your browser. You do not need an account.
2. Camera and device access
The scanner asks your browser for camera permission. Camera frames are used to look for a barcode on your device. You can stop scanning or revoke permission in your browser settings. Choosing an image gives the tool access to the file you select, not your entire photo library.
3. Analytics and browser storage
This site supports Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity when enabled. These services can collect usage information, device and browser details, and interactions; Clarity can also record page sessions. They may use cookies or similar technologies. Local barcode processing does not mean that all website activity is private.
The generator also stores a theme preference in your browser’s local storage. You can clear site data or block tracking through your browser settings. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in barcodes.
Read Google’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement for their practices.
4. Messages and technical logs
If you email us, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, feedback and troubleshooting details. It is used to respond to your request. The hosting service may also process routine request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details to deliver and protect the site.
5. Your choices
You can use the generator without camera access, choose an image instead of live scanning, and clear local site data at any time. Contact us with questions about information you have shared or to request its deletion. Avoid including private barcode values in support messages unless they are necessary.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the tool changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Questions about these practices can be sent through the Contact Us page.
